“LCU Mark IV” is a GRSE in-house designed product. It is the Largest LCU in the world fitted with a wide bow ramp and can attain max speed of 15 knots speed at a very shallow draft. The LCU’s serves towards transportation, deployment and recovery of troops and equipment from ship to shore and vice versa. It is also capable of assisting in search and rescue, provision and consumable supply and replenishment to other vessel in sea and human relief operation. The vessel can carry and deploy military lift of 145 T that includes 165 troops, combat equipment and tank’s Endurance (nm) 4000 at 16 kts.Â
