Indigenously designed and built by GRSE, the modern Oceanographic Research – Cum – Hydrographic Survey Vessel is capable of all types of hydrographical research and oceanographic survey work. Such ships are in service with the Chief Hydrographer, Indian Navy and have also executed overseas assignments in the Middle East. It can carry 01 Helicopter in its Hangar.
