GRSE WAS DECLARED WINNER OF “SCOPE CORPORATE COMMUNICATION EXCELLENCE AWARD 2017” IN THE CATEGORIES OF – “BEST CORPORATE COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN/ PROGRAM (EXTERNAL)” & “BRAND BUILDING THROUGH INCLUSIVE GROWTH INITIATIVES”

GRSE has been awarded prestigious Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar for the year 2016-17 for Excellence in Implementation of Official Language. The award was Presented by Hon’ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, which was received by our Director (Personnel), Shri AK Nanda, at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 14.09.2017. Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir and Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju were also present on the occasion.

The Grse was awarded quality leadership award by quality circle forum of India for implementing the quality concepts in shipbuilding. The award was conferred on Grse and was awarded on 12th September 2017 during the eastern regional conference CCQC 2017 held at hotel Taj Bengal, Kolkata. The award was received by shri asit kumar nanda director(personnel).

GRSE team of senior officials led by Rear Admiral V K Saxena, IN (Retd.) , Chairman & Managing Director, GRSE, participated at a function on Raksha Mantri’s Awards for Excellence in respect of OFB and DPSUs for the years 2015-16 held on 30th May 2017. GRSE was bestowed with award on ‘In-house Design Effort for Offshore Patrol Vessel for Mauritius – CGS Barracuda’.

The Jury Team from Quality Circle Forum of India constituted for the purpose of nominating the Best Company to receive the Quality Leadership Award for 2016, has once again found GRSE as the most Deserving Company to receive the Quality Leadership Award-2016 consecutively for the second year.

Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Home Shri Kiren Rijiju, Secretary (OL), Shri Anoop Kumar Srivastava, IAS and Jt.Secretary (OL) Dr. Bipin Behari were also present on the occasion. This is the Highest Award by Govt. of India for excellence in implementation of Official Language and GRSE is a proud recipient of this prestigious award for the 4th time in last four years.

The Award presented by Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee was received by DGM (OL),GRSE, Smt Sunita Sharma, at Hindi Day ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi on 14 September 2016. The Quality Leadership Award-2015 was conferred on Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd., Kolkata by Quality Circle Forum of India during the Annual Convention held on 22 Sept 15.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. won the Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Puraskar - Ist Prize in 'C' Region for Excellent Implementation of Official Language Policy for the year 2012-13 under the PSUs category. The award was presented by Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee to our Chairman & Managing Director in the Award Ceremony held on 14 September 2014 at Rashtrapati Bhawan Auditorium, New Delhi.

GRSE Chairman Rear Admiral A.K.Verma VSM, IN (Retd.) has been bestowed with the “Honor of Excellence” Award by the Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The Award was bestowed to top industrial leaders, at the inaugural function of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur (West Bengal). The others who were also felicitated on this occasion included Chairmen from SAIL, BHEL, HAL and CMD-TATA Steel, Director General CII, Chairperson - Development Consultant Pvt. Ltd.

GRSE won the e Gov Awards 2014 in the Category of Technology - Modernisation initiative in PSUs.

GRSE was conferred the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering Performance Excellence Award in the Golden Category (Financial & Operational Strength), for the year 2012-13.

GRSE Director (Finance) Shri K. K. Rai won the BT Star PSU Excellence Award 2014, “The Star PSU Director (Finance) For Outstanding Performance” in the Category of Non Maharatna & Navratna PSUs. This Category not only included all Miniratna Companies of the country but also all State Government’s Large and Small PSUs.

GRSE received a Certificate of Appreciation for being a Model Total Quality Management Company by CII for 2013.

GRSE was conferred the PSE Excellence Award 2013 for CSR & Sustainability, in the Miniratna Category. The Award is instituted by Department of Public Enterprises and Indian Chamber of Commerce to recognize and honour the excellent initiatives undertaken by the Central Public Sector Enterprises.

GRSE has won the 2nd Prize (Region C) of the Prestigious Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Puroskar (11-12) for Official Language Implementation. The Award was presented by the Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee at a ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on Sep 14, 2013.

Received the Honorable Raksha Mantri’s Award for The Best Performing Shipyard for two consecutive years viz. 2010-11 & 2011-12.
